A. You can buy now and build later. There is no time limit for building a home.
Q. Do you require a specific homebuilder, or a specific style of house?
A. You can choose your own home builder or a specific style of house. Your house plans must be submitted and approved by an Architectural Review Committee before construction. A 1,400 minimum square feet on the Main Floor requirement is on all homesites except in the Retreat Section (Lots 15 - 47) which has a minimum of 600 up to 1,400 square feet requirement on the Main Floor. Q. I don’t know of any homebuilders in the area?
A. We can provide you with a list of local contractors who have built homes in the area.
Q. Are Waterfront Lots dockable?
A. Yes, some waterfront lots are. Before building a dock you must obtain a Dock Permit from Duke Energy.
Q. What type of activities are allowed on the lake?
A. Lake Rhodhiss is fully recreational for swimming, boating (gas or electric engines), sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, jet skiing, water skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, etc.
